Common Application Essay Questions Answered

Common Application Essay Questions AnsweredA common application essay question asked at a job interview is what you like to do in your free time. It is always nice to know what employers think of you before they interview you. This simple question usually asks something along the lines of, 'Tell me about a time when you needed some help. ', but that's not how the question is asked. The common application essay question asks the candidate to describe a particular experience. You do not need to put your entire life story here. But it is a good idea to come up with something that will be specific enough to appeal to the hiring manager. For example, if you are a homebody, tell the interviewer what activities you do at home. If you have an active social life, then let them know about some of the fun social events you have been involved in recently. The other aspect of the application essay question is that it asks for personal experience. While it is true that applicants who know exactly wh at they want to say have no trouble presenting their case, those who don't really need to let their story be quite descriptive. However, if the interviewer is looking for a general summary of the applicant's employment and hobbies, then this provides a good chance for the person who doesn't know exactly what they want to say to give a more specific description. The general summary gives the impression that the applicant is unsure of what they want to say, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The other facet of the common application essay question is to describe how you came to be in the position that you are applying for. How did you get a job offer? What was your experience like? What skills or talents did you bring to the job?If the interviewer has heard the questions asked and cannot answer them clearly, the applicant has a pretty clear idea of what the interviewer wants to hear. At this point, the applicant can go into some detail about their specific job history and can even men tion where they first learned the skills or talents they were seeking. The third facet of the common application essay question is to simply talk about what you hope to bring to the company. Again, this question isn't very specific. The interviewer is hoping to hear an honest description of the applicant's past experiences and current goals. The applicant needs to present a more concrete picture of themselves. The fourth facet of the common application essay question is to tell the interviewer why they should hire you. It is important to have a positive view of yourself and tell the interviewer why you want the job. This is your chance to tell the company why you are the best person for the job.
